Reflection
What we have done in lesson.
Week 1: Introduction to media, in this week we done a quiz on different films and games and other things like that.
Week 2: We practised adobe premiere pro and had an introduction to the software, in this introduction we used stock footage of a rock climber and edited it into a montage.
Week 3: Green screen photos and our first time using a cannon camera. We also looked at different camera angles such as dutch angles and close up shots, extreme close ups etc.
Week 4: We used a zoom h1z recording device, and took it to different locations like the stairwell, sports hall, the corridors and the recording studio. we did this test to see how different reverb effects sound quality in different rooms. for example the reverb in the studio is dead however the sports hall is extremely reverberant.
Week 5: We put the photos and videos into adobe premiere pro and edited them to have subtitles of what shot type was being used. After this we had to upload this clip onto YouTube (unlisted).
Week 6: We finished off our word documents such as the location recce and our pre-production evaluation.
Week 7: Writing a script and getting questions set up for interviewing another person. More research on my topic (knife crime), estimated statistics and bar charts.
Week 8: We filmed our news report and put it into premier pro to edit it all together. I used a voice over from adobe audition to make the vocals for the story telling louder and clearer and was also able to put the music video that i was talking about playing in the background.
